Inside the Door
The first five years of the weekly program lead students deep into the study of Taiji. After completing year 5, students are invited to take an online assessment with one of our teachers, which grants access to the next phase of study—known as “In the Door.” This marks a step-up in complexity and is most certainly considered advanced-level internal training in Taiji.

Damo’s Journey
The Nei Gong program is the result of Damo’s three decade study of the internal arts. A journey that has taken place across multiple continents and numerous spiritual traditions – ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ
~ Structure of the Program ~
Begin a transformative journey with our structured Taiji program, designed to guide you through both the foundational and advanced stages of this ancient internal art. Upon signing up, you’ll become part of a supportive community learning directly from Damo online, with weekly lessons spanning the first five years of your training.
Throughout the first five years, you will deepen your understanding of Taiji forms, principles, and applications. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to allow you to progress at your own pace, with regular feedback, guidance, and support. You’ll build mastery in the essential practices that form the core of Taiji.
At the end of Year five, you will be invited to take a live online assessment with one of our senior instructors. This assessment marks an important milestone, allowing you to showcase your knowledge and progress. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive constructive feedback and guidance. Once you’ve demonstrated proficiency, you’ll gain access to Year 6 and beyond—referred to as the “In the Door” level of the syllabus. This level marks the beginning of your deeper, more advanced training in Taiji.
